Elizabeth McCormick serves as Director of Digital Experience + Insights for Public Blueprint. Elizabeth is the person the team turns to for her vast digital expertise and her creative touch. Working in politics and corporate advertising has provided Elizabeth with a unique perspective, allowing her to formulate optimal strategies to appeal to politicians and their constituencies alike.
Elizabeth excels at content planning that helps push through the media clutter and bridge the gap between the political and business worlds. She stays busy analyzing social data and anticipating major pivotal shifts in the social landscape to help ensure that Public Blueprint clients stay ahead of the curve.
Elizabeth spent time in New York City working in digital strategy and account planning for corporate brands including Purina, Blue Cross Blue Shield, DASANI, Blackberry and Ford. Elizabeth has also helped a wide range of political clients with their digital and design efforts including Ted Cruz for President, Comptroller Glenn Hegar, Red State Women, Senator Charles Perry, City Councilwoman Ellen Troxclair, and a wide-array of statewide and legislative candidates and elected officials. Elizabeth had the opportunity to work on these various political candidates and learn about running a small business through her former political company.
Elizabeth grew up in Lubbock, TX and is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she holds a B.A. in Advertising with a minor in Fine Arts. At Texas Tech she was able to hone her communication skills by working at the Daily Toreador, La Ventana and Marketing Department of the College of Outreach. Elizabeth currently lives in Austin, TX, where she spends most of her free time with her cocker spaniels, Bella and Baxter, and her husband - Travis. Elizabeth currently volunteers with The Junior League of Austin, Polished Austin, Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin and is a UT PRSSA Mentor. She's passionate about helping new graduates navigate their career path and continuous learning in the digital/creative space.
